Two weeks and counting until the Kentucky Derby Marathon in Louisville. The weather plays such an important part of whether or not one will have a good marathon that is time to start seeing what may happen to help plan my pace and hydration strategies. As of today, the forecast is a low of 49 and high of 60 with clouds which is pretty good weather. The race starts at 7:30 which is a bit later. I really hope that 60 degree high stays true. Ideally, you want temps to be around 50-55. I love a start temp of 45!
OK Barb, you are on the hook now for being responsible for the weather. Carrie gave me a 45 degree starting temp with no wind in Green Bay last year!
